Fifteen Years of Eczema and Hormonal Acne
The Nourishment Experience Project

An observational participant series documenting individual experiences following personalized Allow Nourishment skincare protocols. Participants complete an intake assessment, receive an individualized routine, submit weekly questionnaires, provide photographs and videos, and complete a final evaluation. These reports document participant-reported experiences and observations. They are not controlled clinical trials.

Participant AN-002 had been managing eczema, hormonal acne, and chronically dry skin for more than fifteen years — through Neutrogena Hydro Boost, CeraVe, Proactiv, and a long line of conventional moisturizers. She enrolled on May 28, 2026 for a three-month observation.

Summary

Participant
C.K. — AN-002
Primary concerns
Eczema, hormonal acne, chronic dry skin, keratosis pilaris, PCOS-related fluctuations
Study length
Approximately 3 months
Compliance
Weeks 1–3 and 6 at 100%; weeks 4–5 at 70%
Key outcome
Improved hydration, texture, radiance, skin comfort and confidence

“My skin has never felt so smooth and soft my entire life.”

Presenting concerns

C.K. enrolled after fifteen-plus years of eczema, acne, and chronically dry skin, having worked through a long series of conventional products while looking for something she could stay on. Her stated goal at intake was four words long: clearer, healthier skin.

Baseline assessment

Skin type
Dryness, eczema, acne.
Duration
15+ years.
Previous products
Neutrogena Hydro Boost, CeraVe, Proactiv, and conventional moisturizers.
Goals
Clearer, healthier skin with improved hydration and comfort.

Her individualized protocol

Hers was the most extensive protocol in the series — seven products, covering face and body.

Morning and evening routines were individualized from the participant’s intake assessment.

Compliance and lifestyle

Week Compliance Water Nutrition Stress Sleep
1 100% 80–100 oz 3/5 3/5 2/5
2 100% 40–60 oz 3/5 4/5 2/5
3 100% 40–60 oz 5/5 4/5 2/5
4 70% <40 oz 1/5 1/5 1/5
5 70% 60–80 oz 3/5 3/5 2/5
6 100% 60–80 oz 4/5 3/5 1/5

Self-reported weekly on 1–5 scales. Week four was a hard week across every measure — sleep, nutrition, stress and water all bottomed out at once, and compliance dropped with them.

Week by week

Weeks 1–2

C.K. reported improvements in hydration, texture, sensitivity, and overall skin health. During week two she experienced an acne breakout that she attributed to hormonal fluctuations, and described overall improvement despite the flare.

“My mom is watching my skin change so well that she’s even starting to notice and praise her skin.”

Weeks 3–4

She continued reporting smoother texture, increased radiance, less dryness, and healthier-looking skin. Friends and family began noticing.

“Everyone has noticed how much my skin is glowing.”

Weeks 5–6

Despite continued hormonal and stress-related fluctuations, C.K. reported smoother skin, balanced oil production, and greater confidence in her complexion.

“Even after a stressful week and my hormones going nuts I noticed how smooth my skin is becoming.”

Final assessment

Following approximately three months of consistent use, C.K. reported improvements in hydration, softness, fine lines, texture, hormonal breakouts, participant-reported keratosis pilaris, overall comfort, and confidence.

“My skin is literally glowing.”

“It’s given me so much confidence in my own skin.”

Photographs submitted by the participant, unretouched and uncropped. They were taken at home rather than under controlled conditions, so lighting, clothing, and camera angle vary between sessions.

In her words, before

“Dry, prone to eczema, hormonal acne.”

In her words, after

“My skin is absolutely glowing! I feel as beautiful outside as I’ve always felt inside.”

Researcher discussion

Weekly reporting documented progressive improvements despite fluctuations in sleep, hydration, nutrition, stress, and hormonal cycles. The consistency of participant feedback together with photographs and videos strengthens the observational documentation.

Study limitations

This report reflects a single participant’s observational experience and should not be interpreted as a controlled clinical trial. Individual results may vary.
